Buying a New Home

Here are a few ways I can assist you when purchasing your new home.

The Purchasing Pathway
I am available to assist you with laying out a step-by-step game plan, so you know what to expect during the home buying process, including:

Initial appointment: This will be the basis for your “needs and wants” as a home buyer.

Determining the purchasing parameters: there are three criteria every buyer uses to find their home: location, price and style/condition. These, along with your “needs and wants,” will help to determine the properties we search for.

Acquire pre-approval: It is important to discuss your financial situation prior to viewing homes. Having a pre-approval greatly enhances your negotiating position, especially in a competitive market.

Start your search: Helping you find a home is most often a process of elimination, rather than a process of selection.
Remember: Viewing homes you aren’t particularly interested in may help you to build a frame of reference for your “needs and wants”.

As your Realtor, it is important to keep an open line of communication with you throughout the home search process to review current market conditions and answer any questions you may have. Also, I am always available to help you with any mortgage programs that are of interest.

Complete Transaction Management
As a home buyer, it is important to stay on top of all financing matters, to be sure your real estate transaction closes in a timely fashion, with as little stress as possible.

As your Realtor, I am available to discuss transaction items such as financing, inspection, disclosures, title transfer, appraisals, home repairs, bylaws, association documents, moving coordination and much more.
